About Us

Welcome to Sandro’s — A Taste of Italy in the Heart of Glasgow

At Sandro’s, we bring the soul of Italy to Glasgow with authentic flavours, warm hospitality, and a passion for food that runs deep in our roots. Inspired by traditional family recipes and the vibrant spirit of Italian dining, our restaurant is a place where everyone is welcome — whether you're sharing a relaxed meal with friends or celebrating something special.

Our menu features fresh, seasonal ingredients and time-honoured dishes, from hand-rolled pasta and wood-fired pizzas to rich risottos and regional classics. Every plate is crafted with care, just like Nonna used to make.

At the heart of Sandro’s is a simple philosophy: great food, good company, and genuine service. Step inside, and you'll find a cosy, rustic atmosphere that feels just like home — with a touch of Italian charm.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, we can’t wait to share our table with you.

Benvenuti a Sandro’s — mangiamo!

  • I’m in love!! Carbonara was probably the best I ate in my life, was prepared in really Italian way with egg yolk. Pizza was also delicious. Place is really nice and I will come back for sure 🥰

  • Impeccable service! Ordered the pizza capricciosa and the crust is fluffy with very aromatic flavors from the sugo and mozzarella di bufala. The beef ragu rigatoni is awesome! Don’t forget about their desserts too!

  • Came here with my two year old after a visit to the museum. Delicious, fresh food. Staff could not have been more welcoming of my toddler. Value for money, on the children’s food especially, was fantastic

  • We tried their lunch menu and they have some very lovely tasty options, especially the bruschetta with poached eggs! We also enjoyed a baked eggs dish with Italian sausage. The place is pretty inside and the staff are friendly. You can sit by the window overlooking Kelvingrove Gallery, beautiful.

  • Fantastic pizza and just as good service. Thank you Abby for taking the time to talk to me and give me some local recommendations! It was a really nice experience to have some awesome woodfired pizza and chat about Glasgow. The pizza is hot, fresh, and a decent size for its price. Cute spot with nice ambience.
